Is the Net Worth Tracker free?
Yes. Enter your email to access both the Excel and Google Sheets versions at no cost. Choose your preferred format and use a personal copy.
Do I need to connect my bank accounts?
No. You enter balances manually. Never enter banking passwords or full account numbers into the spreadsheet.
What happens if I skip a month?
Leave its completion setting at No. The results stay blank. Monthly changes require two adjacent completed months.
Can it show negative net worth?
Yes. If your debts exceed your assets, net worth is negative. Percentage change uses the absolute prior net worth. A zero prior balance displays n.a.
Can I reuse it next year?
Yes. Save a new copy, change the year, clear the balance inputs, and reset each month to No. Keep the old file as your history.
This tracker organizes the balances you enter. It does not estimate taxes, selling costs, or future investment returns.
